70 years ago, in 1951, the historical “ponte coperto” of Pavia was rebuilt and quickly became an iconic element of the city’s skyline.
Almost 75 years ago, in 1957, Pellicceria Annabella was born. A company that in the future, would symbolize both in Italy, and abroad, the ability for a suburban town to become a synonym for entrepreneurial success among the big names in the fashion field.
It was Giuliano Ravizza who wanted to keep Annabella solely in Pavia, making the brand inseparable from the city and turning Pavia into, as everyone considers it, the “capital of fur.”
A romantic story that still today maintains its unique appeal: Annabella is still, only in Pavia and on that historical bridge, is where Annabella chose to represent the Autumn Winter FW21/22 collection.
A collection that through its both modern and contemporary feel, aims to reach generations that no longer consider fur as a status symbol, but as a fashion accessory that can marry luxury with street style.
And this is how with a simple but precious cashmere set or a pair of sneakers, Annabella’s reinterpreted fur falls into everyday life.
